

Inline Four is proud to offer Baker High Performance Batterys. The Baker High Performance Battery features cells that are sealed with pressure relief valves that provide a positive pressure within the battery. The plates are sandwiched together using a microfibrous silica glass mat consisting of a bland of glass fibers. The electrolyte is absorbed and held in place by the capillary action between the fluid and the glass fibers. The void space provides the channels which oxygen travels in its path from the positive to the negative plate during charging. The channels allow the freshly generated gases which are in their atomic state and are very reactive, to recombine repidly and safely. Because of this type of construction, the Baker High Performance Battery has a much lower internal resistance and thus have greater starting power, particularly at cold temperatures. Additonally, this glass mat provides a much higher degree of support against shock and vibration.
The Baker High-Performance battery is widely used by the Toyota Atlantic Series and many IMSA, and SCCA pro racers. The Baker High-Performance battery has also become the battery of choice for Inline Four.
